Neurology is the medical specialty that deals with disorders of the nervous system. Specifically, it deals with the diagnosis and treatment of all diseases involving the central nervous system, peripheral nervous system and musculoskeletal system.

The neurologist, is a medical expert, trained to investigate, diagnose and treat neurological disorders.

The neurologist is often involved in clinical research, namely clinical trials and other research projects.
